implanted its first 'brain-reading' device in a person, aiming to enable control of devices through thought for those with severe paralysis, amidst cautious optimism and concerns over transparency and trial details. 🧠

2️⃣ A gene therapy trial in China 

has successfully restored hearing in five deaf children with a genetic condition, showing promising early results for future applications in treating hearing loss. 🦻

3️⃣ Bitcoin 

now consumes over 2% of US electricity, equivalent to adding a new state's demand to the grid ⚡️
